I am so excited to share this session with you all. When I first started talking to Autumn and was getting to know Blake and her’s story, my heart completely melted for the two of them. And then when I met them in person for the first time this past Tuesday for their Engagement session, it was clear to me that they were truly meant for one another.
Ben + Allison’s love is pure and beautiful. It was literally like hanging out with two best friends who just so happen to be madly in love with one another. You can not get much better than that, am I right? Since Ben used to work at the Distillery, we got a super awesome private tour of the place. I have never been to a Distillery before so I felt super cool to be able to get this awesome tour AND snap some photos in the location. This was so much fun and was the perfect unique location for these two.
I have been so excited to share these photos with you all. Caleb and Jordan were so sweet to allow me to blog this session and for working so hard on their makeup. My whole life I had dated and always got hurt. I just knew from the beginning he was so much more. Through those other relationships, I never loved myself. While dating Justin, I have finally learned to feel confident and love who I am. We are so close and more than each other best friends. I CANNOT wait to marry him and be his wife. We love our little country & busy life.
The hike to the Pinnacles was not easy, just a warning to everyone who has yet to be there. We took the steepest yet shortest trail towards the East Pinnacle and the view was absolutely breathtaking. I had mentioned to Taylor that the hike was a perfect represetation of Christianity. The path way towards the top was not easy and even though we had to stop and take a break a few times, once we arrived at the top it was all worth it. It was worth the struggles to witness the beauty at the top of that journey.
I had the pleasure of first working with Madison and Devin during their maternity session almost a year ago. Instantly, I could sense the true love that they had for one another and it is always so refreshing to witness a couple so in love. The way Devin’s eyes would sparkle at the site of her, how Madison held a gorgeous smile every time she would look over at him, everything about them belonged in a romantic movie.
I work my booty off (as does every photographer!) in the weeks that follow your session, editing, perfecting, and crying over your beautiful faces and the images we were able to capture together. And because this is a form of art, plus something so personal, it's value becomes infinite. Which is why I wanted to pass on some tips to those of you who just received their images and now are unsure of what to do with all of them.
