Mini Sessions, Big Memories: A Glimpse into a Bloom-Filled Day at Burnett Farms

This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of hosting Flower Mini Sessions at the beautiful Burnett Farms right here in Somerset, Kentucky, and what a magical day it was!

Ten families. Ten stories. One golden field of blooms.

Every time I get behind the camera, I’m reminded of how much I love what I do. Photographing families and couples isn’t just about pretty pictures—it’s about preserving connection, laughter, and the fleeting moments that make life beautiful. These mini sessions were no exception. With sunshine pouring down, kids giggling between poses, and couples sneaking sweet glances at each other, the whole day felt like something straight out of a storybook (fitting, right?).

Burnett Farms provided the perfect backdrop—vibrant zinnias stretching into the sky, soft summer light, and that unmistakable Kentucky charm. Whether it was toddlers exploring the petals or parents soaking in the moment, each session was unique and filled with genuine emotion.
